Adrienne and I (and sometimes Dale) have been scuba diving aover the world... but there are many more places to see. Reefs have lots of colorful corals and beautiful fish. I love the feeling of weightlessness and the ability to get up close and personal with the inhabitants of the reef. Who knows what you may see...
This will be a special place holder for some upcoming videos that are sure to excite. We were in Sharm during our Egyptian Tour from Oct 8th -14th. Adrienne and I both got our Advanced PADI and Nitrox certifications on this trip. Maybe the best place we've ever dove so far.
Allways a great trip to go diving in Roatan. While the diving was as good as we expected, this trip came with a special wrinkle... Part way into our vacation the US closed its borders due to the Covid-19 pandemic that we sweeping the planet. All flights were canceled and we didn't know how or when we would get off the island. It took me about a week to secure a plane flight back to the USA for Adrienne and Dale and I left the day after them.
Cozumel is another favorite dive destination for Adrienne and I and we really like Scuba Club Cozumel as an all-inclusive resort for diving. There are some gentle currents that run north to south past the island bringing rich nutrients to the inhabitants of the reefs. The sea life is abundant, the coral is beautiful, you can see sea horses and there is nothing like a drift dive to relax you. You just hang out and watch the world float by. It's kind of like sitting in your favorite chair watching a movie.
Cayman Brac is one of the Cayman Islands in the Caribbean Sea. It is located just 60 miles southwest of Cuba. We stay at the Divi Tiarra Dive Resort when we are visiting Cayman Brac. Just next door is Little Cayman Island and along the east side of the two islands is the Cayman Trench which drops about 3,500 feet along Bloody Bay Wall.
This was a wonderful place to find some good diving! Adrienne and I staye at Anthony Key Resort which is an all inclusive resort geared for diving. They have many boats which are never very crowded and the coral and sea life are in wonderful shape. The only draw back are the sand fleas on the island. Be sure to have plenty of insect repellant, antihistamines and sun block. I didn't and I learned my lesson the hard way.

Hawaii is an easy dive destination from California. I have to apologize for the quality of the videos... these were shot with a VCR camera in an Ikelite camera housing so the best quality is SD. None the less, there are some interesting video scenes to be seen (get it?). One of my favorites is the Eagle Ray on dive 184: Eel Cove. Rarely do you get that close for that long. It was a real treat.

This video was captured at Anthony's Key Dive Resort on the island of Roatan in Honduras. If you have ever wanted to swim with a giant Green Moray Eel, here are 2 min and 40 secs of watching this big boy swim the reef. He is graceful, knows all the swim throughs and he slithers through the reef scape like he owns it. At one point he even bears his teeth to me.

The USSR Tibbets was a Russian Destroyer that was purchased by Jean Micheal Cousteau from the Cuban navy. It was sunk as an artificial reef in 1996.
